Hello, folks! We’re back with a new update as to what is going on here at TORK HQ. The following images are of the pelican sculpture we are doing for a private client, this is the only place you will see this sculpture. These pictures are details of the pelicans themselves. They aren’t quite finished yet, we still have to rust them and add a plaque. The story behind the piece, in short, is that as a couple were saying their wedding vows, a flock of pelicans flew overhead. So, a friend/relative of the couple commissioned TORK to create the sculpture as a gift. The pelicans were drawn up by Tony in AutoCad and cut out in our shop. Mark bent the wings and did all of the welding and shaping of the support system, which is absent from these shots. I’ll get full shots of the sculpture when we have it completed, so please enjoy these images.
Hope you dig the images.
Also coming up in the next few weeks will be images from fountains and screens that we are working on in collaboration with the Franklin Park Conservatory for their new bonsai area.
Thanks for viewing, The TORK Crew
