Oh, yea, friends, it has been a minute since you’ve last heard from us, but like we said in that post from sooooooooo long ago….we have been some busy bees. Aaaaannnnddd now the reveal. We’ve been working really hard for our show at the Franklin Park Conservatory here good ol’ Columbus, Ohio. It’s entitled The Savage Gardens, and will consist of four larger than life carnivorous plants, the Trumpet Plant, Sundew, Fanged Pitcher Plant, and a Venus Flytrap. Peep the video attached, and the link to Franklin Park’s website. More to come in the nearest future. The Savage Gardens runs from July to Nov 2010. We hope to see you all there.
Thanks, The TORK Crew.
The short video is Tony Ball, with help from Bill Camelin, working on sculpting a Venus Flytrap head. The video has been slowed down, Tony actually works in the realm of quantum sculpting, so normally he’s impossible to see. *
*The above statement is of course a joke, but we knew you already figured that out. LOL
