Discovery Place – Charlotte, NC (Sneak Peak)

Hey there, friends and lurkers, here are a few shots of the sculpture we’re doing for Discovery Place in Charlotte, NC. The main component is a whirlwind made out of aluminum. This is where donors names will be place on colored acrylic ( you can see the ovals that will hold the plaques). We also have a few shots of the bird components. The birds will be “flying” around the whirlwind, and the whole sculpture will spin…cool huh? The birds are just like the ones we used at Dublin Methodist Hospital here in Columbus. More shots will be posted as we move along in assembling it. Enjoy!
